Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca
Arrive in Casablanca. Visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world, and stroll along the Corniche. Overnight stay in Casablanca.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
Head to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Visit Hassan Tower, the Royal Palace, and Oudayas Kasbah. Continue through the Rif Mountains to reach the blue city of Chefchaouen. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
Travel south to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, then continue to Meknes to explore sites like Bab Mansour and Moulay Ismail’s mausoleum. Arrive in Fes for overnight stay.
Day 4: Full Day in Fes
Guided tour of Fes Medina: visit Al Quaraouiyine University, the Bou Inania Madrasa, the tanneries, and traditional artisan quarters. Overnight in Fes.
Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga Desert
Journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains with stops in Ifrane (“Little Switzerland”) and the cedar forests of Azrou. Continue via the Ziz Valley to reach Merzouga Desert. Camel trek into the dunes and spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.
Day 6: Merzouga – Todgha Gorges – Dades Valley
Wake up early for sunrise over the dunes, then depart for the stunning Todgha Gorges. Continue to the Dades Valley, where you’ll overnight in a riad/hotel surrounded by dramatic rock formations.
Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
Drive through the Valley of Roses and Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Visit the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, before crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Arrive in Marrakech for overnight.
Day 8: Exploring Marrakech – Departure
Discover the highlights of Marrakech, including the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Majorelle Gardens, and the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Transfer to the airport or continue your stay in Marrakech. End of the tour.
